Dietary cottage cheese pancakes recipe. Dietary cottage cheese pancakes with corn and oat flour - a good recipe! myths about weight loss

How to choose a quality product?

In stores you can find completely different brands of cottage cheese, with a fat content ranging from 0% to 18%. To choose a truly high-quality product, you need to carefully look at the composition. There should only be milk (not powdered) and sourdough. There are also manufacturers who blatantly lie, forgetting to indicate on the label that they added starch for thickness or water for a softer and more delicate consistency. To make sure that there is no starch in the composition, drop a little iodine on the cottage cheese; if a bluish tint appears, it means it is present there.

The optimal fat content of this dairy product for a healthy person is considered to be up to 9%, for someone losing weight and maintaining a normal weight – up to 5%.
Recipe for cottage cheese pancakes

For those on a diet, it is better to choose a fat content of no more than 5%, or preferably lower. Take any flour, but oatmeal, corn and others are healthier in terms of vitamin composition. This recipe combines 3 types.

How to prepare dietary cottage cheese pancakes without wheat flour: step-by-step recipe with photos

  • First mix all dry ingredients. You can use any flour if you wish. But rye will not work in this case.
  • Mix egg, cottage cheese and milk. Ideally, the milk should be poured last so that the dough is not too runny. If you have overdone the portion, then you can add more flour.
  • Pour dry ingredients into the curd mixture. Drop the dough into the pan with a tablespoon. It shouldn't spread. Fry on both sides, you can cover with a lid so that the dough sets faster. If desired and available in a frying pan, fry without oil on a dry surface. This will make the dish less caloric.
