“Road rules in kindergarten” material on the topic. “Organization of work on studying traffic rules in kindergarten Forms and methods of teaching preschoolers traffic rules

Gulnara

We live in a beautiful city with wide streets and avenues. A lot of cars and trucks, buses and minibuses travel along these streets every day. Statistics show that children themselves are often the cause of road accidents. A child is not a small adult, his body is in a state of growth and development, and not all the functions of the psyche are the same, his speed, as well as his capabilities.

Teaching older preschoolers kindergartens traffic rules(traffic rules) and prevention child injuries on the roads- an obligatory part of the educational process in preschool educational institutions. Requirements specified in the educational program for teaching children road alphabet, should become more complex depending on the age of the children.

Every year our preschool organizes and hosts events directed for prevention and prevention road-transport injuries:

Developed normative legal basis for accident prevention;

According to the age of the children and the requirements of the program, we have safety corners traffic, illustrative material, as well as recommendations for parents on prevention road-transport injuries;

In the corners, according to traffic regulations, children play, and at the same time gain knowledge that there are houses on the streets, large and small, sidewalks, and streets. While playing with cars, they notice that there are cars and trucks, and they learn rules behavior in transport, when crossing roads, on the sidewalk, getting acquainted with traffic lights.

Children learn while playing Right cross the roadway roads, find out that on there are signs on the roads, which warn drivers and pedestrians of what lies ahead.

The work of preschool educational institutions on the assimilation of pupils safe traffic rules can give effective results only when working together with parents.

When organizing this cooperation, you need to remember that it should not be declarative. So that parents and children show interest in road alphabet, we organize different types activities: competitions, quizzes, holidays.

For parents of older preschoolers:

Your baby has grown up, he has become more inquisitive, his life experience has been enriched, and he has become more independent. But your authority has not diminished at all. You still remain a faithful assistant for him in instilling cultural behavior on the street and in public transport.

Knowing the individual characteristics of your child (temperament, intelligence, nervous system, etc.), continue to help him master the science of respect for street: not intrusive, but persistent, patient, systematic.

Cultivate in your child the habit of being attentive, prudent and careful on the street.

By on the way to kindergarten, home, on a walk, continue to consolidate the knowledge acquired earlier, ask problematic questions, pay attention to your actions, why you stopped in front of the pedestrian crossing, why you stopped in front of dear and right here etc. P.

At this age, a child should know and do the following: rules:

You need to walk on the sidewalk right side.

Before you go the road, you need to make sure that there are no cars by looking to the left and right, after that you can move, after first looking in both directions again.

Way to go you only need to walk.

You must obey traffic lights.

In transport you need to behave calmly, speak in a quiet voice, hold on to an adult’s hand or a handrail so as not to fall.

You cannot stick your arms out of the window of a bus or trolleybus.

You can enter and exit the vehicle only when it is stationary.

You can only play in the yard.

Observe situations with your child road, in the yard, behind pedestrians, discuss what you saw with your child. Read a suitable instructive work of art to your child, and then offer to talk about what you read; you can draw a corresponding picture.

Poems about traffic rules

You need to obey without arguing

Traffic light instructions:

Need to traffic rules

Carry out without objection.

Everywhere and everywhere rules, you need to know them Always:

Without them, ships will not set sail from the harbor.

Leave on flight rules polar explorer and pilot.

They have their own driver and pedestrian rules.

Like a multiplication table, like a lesson,

Remember traffic rules by rote!

They don’t just walk around the city, on the street So:

When you don't know rules, it's easy to get into trouble.

Be attentive all the time and remember in advance d:

They have their own driver and pedestrian rules!

At any crossroads

We are greeted by a traffic light

And it starts very easily

Conversation with a pedestrian:

Green light - come in!

Yellow - better wait!

If the light turns red -

It's dangerous to move!

Let the tram pass

be patient.

Learn and respect traffic rules.

And avenues and boulevards -

The streets are noisy everywhere

Walk along the sidewalk

Only with right side!

Teaching traffic rules in kindergarten is a vital necessity, so various activities on traffic rules are always relevant.

Solving the problem of ensuring road safety is considered a priority. The problem of child injuries is growing.

Work of MBDOU No. 19 of Nevinnomyssk

with preschool children to familiarize themselves with the rules of the road.

From year to year the number of road transport in our city and our country increases. City streets with a stream of moving cars require children to have good orientation, and orientation is formed in the process of practical activity. The rapid development of road transport and the increase in traffic intensity poses a serious challenge - ensuring the safety of children. According to statistics, every tenth victim of a traffic accident is a child. The child is interested in the street and everything that happens on it. And often, carried away by something unusual, he finds himself in dangerous situations on the street, especially in the summer. That is why, already at preschool age, it is necessary to teach children to navigate their immediate environment. This is all the more important for a future student to know, since he has to travel from home to school and back. In preventing traffic accidents with children, the work of preschool educational institutions plays an important role in explaining to children the rules of the road and instilling the skills of disciplined, cultural behavior on the streets and roads. After all, it is difficult for a child to understand what a braking distance, driver reaction time or traffic flow is. Children often suffer from a lack of understanding of the dangers posed by a car. The preschool development program provides for teaching children traffic rules from the first junior group. The teacher’s work plan included such forms of work with children according to traffic rules as excursions, observations, conversations, looking at pictures, reading works, memorizing poems, various didactic and role-playing games. Preschool teachers, in their work to familiarize children with the rules of the road, also focus on the program “Basics of safety for preschool children” by R.B. Sterkina, O.L. Knyazeva, N.N. Avdeeva, namely the section “Child on the streets cities. Starting from the first junior group, our kindergarten works to familiarize children with various types of transport, to educate children in the ability to behave on the street and the roadway. From an early age, children are attracted by the diversity of their surroundings: houses, streets, and vehicles moving along them. Observing street life in itself does not ensure the formation of correct ideas about the rules of the road. It is difficult for children to independently learn the ABCs of traffic, understand the changing of traffic lights, and understand their meaning. This forced us to start teaching children the rules of behavior on the street in a timely manner. Compliance with the rules is the result of good manners. Research by psychologists shows that children have a gap in theoretical knowledge and its practical application. Conscious application of traffic rules is impossible if children do not know how to distinguish and name (depending on age) the left, right side, and middle. Traffic rules require the child to navigate in space and react correctly to changes in the environment. To achieve success in mastering traffic rules, educators at MBDOU No. 19 in Nevinnomyssk communicate between all sections of the program. In classes on speech development, visual arts, the formation of elementary mathematical concepts, physical education, music and other types of activities, attention is paid to the development of spatial orientation in children, and the development of a quick reaction to changes in the environment. Preschool teachers introduce children to traffic rules systematically and consistently, complicating the program requirements from lesson to lesson and from group to group. In the younger and middle groups, during targeted walks, in classes, and in games, teachers direct children’s attention to the movement of pedestrians and vehicles, name the colors of traffic lights, introduce them to the street, with the words: “traffic light,” “sidewalk,” “pedestrian,” “crossing.” ", "car". They specify the name of the car parts: cabin, wheels, doors, etc. The knowledge acquired during the walk by the pupils is consolidated in the process of classes: on the application - gluing a traffic light; in a lesson on the formation of elementary mathematical concepts, they are taught to distinguish between the left and right sides; during design - building a street, a road, the teacher accompanies the actions with the word: “We will have a sidewalk, who will walk on it?” In physical education classes, children are taught to move in a certain direction - forward, backward. Outdoor games are played: “Train”, “Tram”, “Sparrows and Cars”, “Find Your Color”. Thus, children gain experience moving along the street, their vocabulary is enriched, and their level of spatial orientation increases. In the senior and preparatory school groups, educators connect scattered information about traffic rules into a consistent and harmonious system of ideas. Children of these groups clearly know and practically use their existing knowledge of traffic rules on the street, know road signs, and know about the work of traffic police officers. Teachers of older groups play with the rules of the road in various games. All children in the pre-school group can practically cross the street and clearly know the road from home to school.

The ability to apply traffic rules is developed in children on the basis of methodological literature available in preschool educational institutions: “Methodological recommendations for teaching preschool children traffic rules”, St. Petersburg, 1994; “How to ensure the safety of preschool children”, K.Yu. Belaya, V.N. Zimonina, L.A. Kondrykinskaya et al., M. "Enlightenment", 2004; “For preschoolers about the rules of the road”, E.Ya. Stepanenkova, M.F. Filenko, M. "Enlightenment", 1979; “Safety on the streets and roads”, N.N. Avdeeva, O.L. Knyazeva, R.B. Sterkina, M.D. Makhaneva, M. LLC Publishing House AST-LTD, 1997; Methodological manual “Teach preschoolers the rules of movement”, V. Klimenkov. Teachers use in their work a large selection of didactic games on traffic rules available in the teaching room: “Signs on the roads”; "Road signs"; "Traffic light"; "Who left"; "What changed?"; “Who will come to kindergarten faster?”, “We are going, going, going!” In their work, teachers use pictures of traffic rules and illustrated manuals available in kindergarten. Using fiction and looking at pictures with children, preschool teachers remember and know that the correct perception of a work of art depends on the level of the child’s imagination.

In each group of MBDOU No. 19, “safety corners” have been created, where visual and game material on traffic rules is collected. The material is replenished and updated throughout the academic year. Children independently play familiar games and look at illustrations without adult intervention. A “safety corner” is also designed in the preschool hall; its purpose is to inform not only preschool children, but also their parents about traffic rules and the need to comply with them. To improve work with children, teachers made models of streets with their own hands with intersections, road signs, and traffic lights. In MBDOU No. 19, children are regularly instructed on traffic rules in a playful manner once a month. For each briefing, instructions have been developed that are approved by the pedagogical council. Throughout the year, educators introduce children to fiction about traffic rules: Dorokhova A. “Green, Yellow, Red”; Zhidkov B. “What I saw, traffic light”; Northern A. “3 wonderful colors”; Klimenko V. “Who is more important than everyone else in the world!”, “The incident with the toys”; Turutin S. “What is a traffic light for”; Mikhalkov S. “My Street”, “Cyclist”; Marshak S. “Policeman”, “Ball”.

The close relationship between our preschool educational institution and their parents plays an important role in familiarizing children with the rules of the road. Educators do a lot of work on traffic rules with parents, introduce them to program requirements, and involve them in the production of material for conducting classes, games, and performing various tasks with children. For example, parents and their children completed drawing and appliqué work at home, and an exhibition of work on traffic rules was organized at the preschool educational institution. Various consultations on traffic rules are held with parents in groups, and visual information stands on this topic are set up in parent corners.

At the end of the school year, educators of all age groups of preschool educational institutions study the level of children’s assimilation of program material on traffic rules according to specially developed criteria, which makes it possible to identify the level of children’s assimilation of the material and outline the tasks of working with children during the summer health period. Carrying out work to familiarize children with the rules of the road, educators are confident that the knowledge and skills of driving on the street acquired at a preschool educational institution serve as the foundation for preparing a child for school, and ensure the independence and culture of behavior on the street for our graduates. It should be noted that preschool children come to school with certain skills for proper behavior on the streets. School teachers also note this. The role of preschool educational institutions in the prevention of road traffic injuries is great, since systematic, purposeful, correct educational work with preschoolers creates a strong skill in children’s behavior on the street, helps preserve the life and health of the child, and ensures independence and awareness of children’s behavior on the street. The preschool educational institution has collected a lot of varied didactic material on teaching children traffic rules. Educators are looking for new modern forms of working with children according to traffic rules, and they are succeeding.

Basics of life safety

TRAVEL THROUGH THE CITY OF ROAD SIGNS.

Summary of sports entertainment for older preschoolers.

Target: to clarify and consolidate children’s knowledge about the rules of behavior on the street, about the rules of the road, about various types of transport, to develop attention, improve coordination of movements, strengthen the muscle corset, help improve motor skills, and cultivate a culture of behavior in public transport.
Benefits: pictures of the street, different types of transport, road signs on stands and pictures, a zebra crossing path, two tunnels, two hoops, 2 “Fold the traffic light” games, steering wheels, bags, strollers for the game and “traffic light” (circles) – red, yellow, green), two balls, colored cards according to the number of participants, a cassette with music.

Children enter the hall. The hall is decorated like a city: there is a pedestrian crossing (path), a bus stop, and a traffic light.

Leading. Today we will take you for a walk through the City of Road Signs. First, you and I will go on foot. Where will we go (shows pictures of houses, streets, roadways)?

Children's answers.

Leading. That's right, we'll walk along the sidewalk where pedestrians walk.

Children:
The city in which you and I live,
It can rightly be compared to an ABC book.
Here it is, the alphabet, above the pavement:
Signs are hung overhead.
ABC of streets, avenues, roads
The city gives us a lesson all the time.
Always remember the alphabet of the city,
So that no trouble happens to you.
Leading. We walk along the sidewalk (to the music, various types of walking: on toes, with wide steps, sideways, side steps; running, jumping). We have come with you to the stadium, where we will conduct the “Jolly Pedestrians” warm-up.
ORU "Happy Pedestrians"

  5. "Where is the bus?" IP: - basic stance, arms down, 1 – jump, legs apart, arms to the sides, 2 – starting position, 3 – repeat count 1, 4 – starting position. Perform 8-10 jumps, alternating them with walking.

A car horn is heard. Kuzya the brownie runs in.
Brownie: Phew, I almost got hit by a car.
Leading. Hello, what's your name?
Brownie: Brownie Kuzya.
Leading. Where were you crossing the road that you almost got hit by a car?
Brownie: Wherever it was convenient, I moved there.
Leading. Guys, where should you cross the road?
Children: A pedestrian! A pedestrian!
Remember about the transition!
Underground, above ground,
Zebra-like.
Know that only a transition
Leading. That's right, along the pedestrian crossing. Let's show Kuza
where it is necessary to cross the road (the children walk with Kuzya
along the pedestrian crossing (path)). Tell me guys what
Are there pedestrian crossings? (children's answers) Correct
above-ground and underground (shows pictures). Kuzya, you understand
where should you cross the road?
Brownie: Of course I understand. Along the pedestrian crossing.
Leading. To reinforce this rule, we will play.
Game "Underpass"
Children are divided into two teams. At the leader’s signal, I run through the “underground passage” - the tunnel. Whose team gets to the other side of the “street” the fastest wins.
Leading. Kuzya, tell me, where were you in such a hurry?
Brownie: I was running away from Baba Yaga. She wants me to live with her
hut, but I want to be in the village with people. Yaga's forest is very
boring. And I got lost in the city. Help me get there
to my village.
Presenter. Guys, can we help the brownie? (children's answers) Then, now we
Let's go to the bus stop and take the bus.
Children, together with the brownie, approach the “bus stop” (there is a “bus stop” sign on the counter, the presenter shows pictures of road transport: a bus, a passenger car, various types of trucks).
Leading. How can you call these cars in one word?
Children's answers (cars, transport). What types of transport do you know (cars, trucks)?
Leading. What sign is this? (shows the “Bus Stop” sign, children answer). Now we will see whose team will move from one stop to another faster.
Game "Transport the Passenger"
Children are divided into two teams. A “driver” is selected, he holds a hoop - this is a bus. At the signal, the “Driver” transports passengers from one stop to another. The team that transports passengers the fastest wins.
During the game, Baba Yaga runs in. She tries to push everyone away. Kuzya is hiding behind the children.
Presenter. Dear, you can’t behave like that on the bus.
Baba Yaga . I am not respected, but a real Baba Yaga. I need to hurry. And you are disturbing me.
Leading. Guys. Let's tell Baba Yaga how to behave on the bus. (children's stories) Baba Yaga, where are you in such a hurry?
Baba Yaga . I'm looking for Brownie Kuzya. He ran away from me. Haven't you seen him?
Leading. We just saw that he doesn’t want to live in the forest with you. He wants to live in the village. Let him go.
Baba Yaga . No, I won't let you go. He won’t run away from me anywhere, he’ll get lost in the city. Something will definitely happen to him - he will get hit by a car. Nobody will help him.
Presenter. The guys will help him.
Baba Yaga . (sees Kuzya) There you are! They won’t help, I bewitched the traffic light, mixed up all the signs.
Presenter. Our children know the rules of the road, they will fix the traffic lights.
Game "Fold the traffic light"
Children are divided into two teams of three. Each participant runs up to a “traffic light” (two rectangles with three circles) and lays out one colored circle. Who will lay out the colors of the traffic lights faster and correctly?
Leading. You see, Baba Yaga, our children have bewitched the traffic light.
Do you want to play the game “Cars, Pedestrians and Traffic Lights” with them?
Who makes sure that everything is on its way
Did you know how to behave?
Attention, looks straight ahead
There's a three-eyed traffic light on you -
Green, yellow, red eye.
He gives orders to everyone.

Game "Cars, pedestrians and traffic lights"
One group of participants is given steering wheels - they are “cars”, another group is given bags, strollers - they are pedestrians. The presenter shows two circles of different colors (circles of red and green, both circles are yellow and gives an explanation for whom which signal “lights up” - for drivers or pedestrians. Cars on a green signal are driving, on a yellow signal they are standing, on a red signal they are crouching Pedestrians cross the road at a pedestrian crossing at a green signal, stop at a yellow signal, and everyone joins hands. Baba Yaga tries to confuse the children, but she doesn’t succeed.
Leading. Our guys know traffic lights well.
Baba Yaga . They know the traffic lights, but they don’t know the road signs.
Presenter. Let's check.
Game "Collect road signs"
The game is played by 2 teams
.
In front of children, at a distance of 2-3 m, road signs (signs on stands) are placed in one line. Using a counting rhyme, children determine the order of the teams and, according to the order, begin to knock down the sign by throwing the ball. Each knocked down sign can be picked up only when the road sign itself is named correctly. If the answers are given incorrectly, then the sign is put back in place. The team that collects the most signs wins. Baba Yaga and Kuzya also participate in this game.
Presenter. Yaga made sure that our guys know the road signs. They also know poems about them. (Children take one sign at a time and line up, each talking about their sign).

Well, now, all the signs,
Get together in a row
And all the traffic rules
Tell me for the guys.

Leading. Let's try.
Baba Yaga.
This is a strong machine
Rides on huge tires!
Removed half a mountain at once
Seven-ton...
(dump truck)
* * *
He will oblige us to go quietly,
Turning close will show
And it will remind you what and how
On your way...
(road sign)
* * *
And, walking along the roads,
Don't forget, kids:
The edge of the road is for pedestrians,
The rest is for... (cars)
* * *
What is this zebra crossing on the road?
Everyone stands with their mouths open,
Wait for the green light to blink.
So this is... transition
(transition)
* * *
Underground corridor
It leads to the other side.
There is no door, no gate,
This is also... transition
(transition)

* * *
The house on rails is right here,
He will kill everyone in five minutes.
Sit down and don't yawn,
Departing...tram
(tram)

* * *
Raised two hands up -
He took two veins in his fists.
“Make way, guard,
I’ll run along the pavement!”
(Trolleybus)
* * *
Carries a trunk, not an elephant,
But he is stronger than the elephant.
It replaces hundreds of hands!
Without a shovel, he digs.
(Excavator)
* * *
Drinks gasoline like milk
Can run far.
Carries goods and people
You are familiar with her, of course.
He wears shoes made of rubber,
It's called...
(Car)
* * *
A canvas, not a path,
A horse is not a horse - a centipede
It crawls along that path,
The whole convoy is carried by one.
(Train)
* * *
I run with two legs
While the rider is sitting on me.
My horns are in his hands
And the speed is in his feet.
I'm only stable when I'm running,
I can't stand for a minute.
(Bike)

Leading. The children guessed all your riddles. You must let Kuzya go.
Baba Yaga . I liked it at your kindergarten. It’s possible, Kuzya and I
shall we come to visit? And I will accompany Kuzya to the village, I will tell you
I promise. As a parting gift, I want to give you small gifts.
(Gives the children books about traffic rules and leaves
together with Kuzya)

Leading. So our walk through the City of Road Signs has ended.
There are so many difficulties on the roads, no doubt.
But we have no reason to be afraid of them,
Because traffic rules
Available for pedestrians and cars.
And so that everyone is in a good mood,
Follow the traffic rules, people!

In the meantime, the jury is summing up the results of the competition, I invite the teams to relax and play for the fans. I will read you a poem, and you can guess the name of the game we will play.
If the light turns red -
This means it is dangerous to move.
Yellow light - warning -
“Wait for the signal to move!”
The green light says -
“Come on, the way is open!”

What is this poem about, guys?
Correctly, our game is called traffic light and it has the following rules: when I show you the green circle, you must stomp your feet, imitating walking, the yellow circle - you clap your hands, and on the red circle - keep silence.

Leading.
Guys, you are all great! You are so friendly and attentive, but it’s time to see which team is the most dexterous. We played “Traffic Light” with the fans, now we’ll play with the teams. Each team has a set of cut-out pictures “Traffic Light”. Whoever collects it first wins.

The jury sums up the results of the competition.

It's time to hold a team captain competition.
I will pin pictures of traffic signs on the easel for each captain, but they forgot to draw these signs to the end. And I will ask the captains to help me. You need to complete the signs, name them and say where they are installed.

The jury sums up the results of the competition.

It's time to warm up and run the relay race. The teams stand on the starting line, 3 cones are placed on the team track, behind them in a hoop lie three balls from a dry pool, matched to the colors of the traffic light. The child, starting on command, must jump on fitballs to the hoop and take one cube in his hand. Take the fitball in your other hand and run back to the starting line, pass the fitball to the next child. When all the cubes are on the starting line, the relay race is carried out in the reverse order: with a fitball and a cube in their hands, the child runs to the hoop. Leaves the cube in the hoop and jumps on the fitball, going around the cones.

The jury sums up the results of the competition.

We all know that you have to be extremely careful on the street, you can’t rush, run, or jump. You need to be restrained. Now we will see if our teams can show restraint and fulfill all the conditions of the next competition. This competition is called "Road Signs". I read you a riddle and show you a sign. And you must raise your hand. The jury members look at who raised their hand first, ask him, and only then can he answer.

There are many signs on the roads,
All children should know them!
And all the traffic rules
Must do it exactly.

By stripes black and white
The pedestrian walks boldly.
Which of you guys knows -
What does this sign mean?
Give the car a quiet ride….. (pedestrian crossing)

Hey driver, be careful!
It's impossible to go fast.
People know everything in the world
This place is where ..... (children) go

What should I do? What do i do?
You need to call urgently!
Both you and he should know
In this place …. (telephone)

I'm walking in a blue circle
And it’s clear to the whole neighborhood,
If you think about it a little - ...... (pedestrian path)

I didn’t wash my hands on the road,
Ate fruits and vegetables
I'm sick and I see a point
Medical………. (help)

The path is not close to trouble
You didn't bring food with you
will save you from starvation
Sign road point ..... (food)

Tokens are awarded for correct answers.
The jury sums up the results of the competition.

Leading.
I suggest we all play together, listen carefully to the questions and answer together.
Now I'll check you out
And I’ll start a game for you.
I'll ask you questions now -
It is not easy to answer them.

If you act in accordance with the traffic rules, then answer in unison: “This is me, this is me, these are all my friends!” And if not, keep quiet.

Which of you goes forward only where there is a transition? ………

Who flies ahead so fast that they don't see the traffic lights? ………

Who knows that the light is green, it means the path is open,
What does the yellow light always tell us about attention? ……….

Who knows that a red light means there is no road?

How many of you walk home along the pavement? ………

Which of you in a cramped carriage gave up your seat to an old lady? …….

The jury is invited to sum up the results of the quiz.

Teaching children traffic rules and road safety in preschool educational institutions

The article is intended for teachers and parents,

since the safety of children on the road and in life depends on them.

Relevance: The issue of ensuring human safety on the road arose simultaneously with the advent of cars, and then began to intensify with the development of the automotive industry. Disappointing reports about road accidents involving minor children leave no one indifferent.

Statistics show that children themselves are often the cause of road accidents. A child is not a small adult; his body is in a state of growth and development, and not all mental functions that are so necessary for adaptation in the world are fully formed. Children are dynamic, excitable and at the same time absent-minded; they are not able to foresee danger, assess the real distance to a moving car, its speed, as well as their capabilities. Therefore, it is necessary to attract the attention of the public, the media, employees of motor transport organizations, and parents to this problem. The same reason explains the need to ensure increased road safety at the state level.

Teaching junior and senior preschoolers in kindergartens traffic rules (traffic rules) and preventing child injuries on the roads is an obligatory part of the educational process in preschool educational institutions. The requirements specified in the educational program for teaching children the road alphabet should become more complex depending on the age of the children.

In our preschool every year, events are organized and carried out aimed at the prevention and prevention of road traffic injuries:

A regulatory framework for the prevention of road accidents has been developed;

    In each group, according to the age of the children and the requirements of the program, there are road safety corners, illustrative material, as well as recommendations for parents on the prevention of road traffic injuries;

Teachers collect didactic material, make a variety of educational games, and organize joint activities (entertainment in which children and their parents participate, excursions, thematic conversations).

In our work we implement different techniques and methods. The most effective way to convey basic rules of behavior on the road to children is a game where they are participants. During the game, children learn the basic rules and requirements, understand who a pedestrian, a driver and a traffic controller are.

During construction games and corners according to traffic rules, children play, and at the same time gain knowledge that there are houses on the streets, large and small, sidewalks, and streets. While playing with cars, they notice that there are cars and trucks, they learn the rules of behavior in transport, when crossing the road, on the sidewalk, and become familiar with traffic lights.

Also in the traffic rules corner, children see an intersection, become familiar with zebra and dividing line markings, and learn the concepts of one-way and two-way traffic.

While playing, children learn to cross the road correctly and learn that there are signs on the roads that warn drivers and pedestrians about what lies ahead.

Most of the work on teaching preschoolers the rules of the road occurs in the senior and preparatory groups. Children at this age already have certain knowledge and ideas about the road, drivers, pedestrians and passengers.

Therefore, in these groups the content of the material is more complex: in the corners of the traffic rules there are different types of intersections with markings, sidewalks, different types of signs, traffic stops, etc. Children become familiar with the concept of “multi-lane traffic”, “safety island”, and the means of regulating traffic on the road.

In organizing role-playing games, the creation of a subject-development environment is of great importance. For this purpose, the preschool educational institution has road signs and a traffic light. Here children can not only play, but also practice and consolidate their acquired knowledge of the rules of behavior of a cultured driver and pedestrian, road signs, and together with the teacher they analyze situational tasks on road safety.

To help educators organize the training of children in traffic rules, there is an educational and methodological complex: demonstration and didactic material, card files of games, lesson notes, riddles, poems, long-term plans for introducing children to the rules of the road according to the age of the children.

The work of preschool educational institutions to ensure that pupils learn the rules of safe movement can only give effective results when working together with parents.

When organizing this cooperation, you need to remember that it should not be declarative. In order for parents and children to show interest in the road alphabet, we organize various types of activities: competitions, quizzes, holidays.

During the school year, exhibitions of drawings are held with the involvement of parents “Road Safety”. Such events are important, because children and parents, when participating in them, act as one team, and sometimes children become teachers of their parents. After all, many parents still do not think about the problem of children's safety on the road.

It is impossible to instill the skills of safe behavior on the road by talking about caution alone. Traffic rules and safe behavior on the road should be taught to a child from the very moment he begins to walk independently.

So, while teaching children the basics of “travel literacy”, the teaching staff of our preschool institution adheres to the following rules:

    To instill in preschoolers a culture of behavior on the road, and not to mechanically memorize traffic rules with children;

    Combine the study of the Rules and the development of coordination, attention in children, and observation;

Use all available methods and forms of work: games, conversations, productive activities, quizzes, practical exercises, reading books, showing videos, excursions.

All this is necessary to form and consolidate in children the skill of safe behavior on the road.

For parents of younger preschoolers:

You are a model of behavior and an object of love and imitation for your child. Remember this the moment you go out onto the roadway with your baby.

To prevent a child from getting into trouble, you need to instill in him respect for the rules of the road every day, unobtrusively and with patience.

A child should only play in the yard under the supervision of adults and know that he must not go out onto the road!

You should not frighten your child with possible circumstances, but you should observe situations with him on the road, in the yard, on the street, and explain what is happening with pedestrians and vehicles.

Introduce your child to the rules for pedestrians and the rules for transport.

Develop your baby's attention and visual memory. To do this, create game situations at home. In the drawings, consolidate your impressions of what you saw. Give your child the opportunity to take you to kindergarten and then home in the evening.

At this age, a child should know:

You can't go out on the road.

You can cross the road only with an adult, holding his hand.

    You can't break out.

You can cross the road only at a pedestrian crossing at a calm pace.

Pedestrians are people who walk along the street.

In order for there to be order on the road, there are no accidents, so that a pedestrian does not get hit by a car, everyone must obey the traffic light: red light - no traffic, and green light says: “Pass on, the path is open.”

There are different types of cars, they are transport. The cars are driven by drivers (chauffeurs). Cars (transport) move along the road (highway, pavement).

When we travel on a trolleybus or bus, we are passengers.

When we travel in public transport, we cannot lean out of the window; we need to hold on to mom, dad’s hand or the handrail.

For parents of older preschoolers:

Your baby has grown up, he has become more inquisitive, his life experience has been enriched, and he has become more independent. But your authority has not diminished at all. You still remain a faithful assistant for him in instilling cultural behavior on the street and in public transport.

Knowing the individual characteristics of your child (temperament, intelligence, nervous system, etc.), continue to help him master the science of respect for the street: not intrusively, but persistently, patiently, systematically.

Cultivate in your child the habit of being attentive, prudent and careful on the street.

On the way to kindergarten, home, on a walk, continue to consolidate the knowledge acquired earlier, ask problematic questions, pay attention to your actions, why you stopped in front of the pedestrian crossing, why you stopped in front of the road and exactly here, etc.

At this age, the child must know and follow the following rules:

You need to walk on the sidewalk on the right side.

Before crossing the road, you need to make sure that there are no cars by looking left and right, after which you can move, after first looking in both directions again.

You only need to cross the road at a walk.

Observe with your child situations on the road, in the yard, pedestrians, discuss what you see with your child. Read a suitable instructive work of art to your child, and then offer to talk about what you read; you can draw a corresponding picture.

Road safety lessons for parents

Child in arms. Be attentive and careful - the child, being in your arms, blocks your view of the road.

Child in a sled. Remember that sleds can easily tip over. This should not be allowed on or near the roadway. Look at your child more often. Try to walk in the middle of the sidewalk, further from the icicles.

Exit from public transport. Let the adults always go out first when receiving the child, as he may break free and run out onto the road. When walking on steps that are designed for an adult, a child may fall. Extreme care is needed when you are the last passenger to leave or enter. The driver may not notice the child standing on the steps, whom you were preparing to pick up when you got out; he will consider that the disembarkation is over, close the door and drive off. Therefore, you need to not be the last one to leave, either take the child in your arms, or warn the driver before leaving.

Travel by public transport. When driving on a bus, you need to take a stable position; you need to be especially careful near the driver’s cabin and when preparing to get off.

Hand in hand with a child. On and near the road, always remember that a child may struggle. This situation often happens and leads to traffic accidents. The child may try to escape if he sees dear friends, relatives, etc. on the other side.

Learn to observe. While the child is on the street next to you, it is during the period from 2 to 6 years old, during walks, on the way to kindergarten and back, that it is best and most convenient to instill in him the skills mentioned above! Use the opportunity while you are next to your child on the road to teach him to observe and recognize road “traps.” Let him also observe, reflect, and not just trust you when crossing the road. Otherwise, he will get used to going out onto the roadway without looking.

Example of parents. One wrong action by parents in front of the child, or together with him, can cross out a hundred correct instructions in words. Therefore, never rush with your child on the roadway, do not cross the road while rushing to the bus, and do not talk about extraneous things while crossing the road. Do not cross the road diagonally, or on the side of the crossing, at a red light. This is the only way to ensure maximum safety for your child on the road.

If the child wears glasses. On the road, “lateral vision” plays a very important role, since a pedestrian crosses the road while being sideways to the vehicle. Since “lateral vision” is weakened with glasses, it is necessary to teach the child to observe with redoubled care, to recognize “obstructed view” situations. Even more carefully teach your child to estimate the speed of approaching traffic.

So, only a culture of parental behavior, strict adherence to traffic rules, patience and responsibility for the life and health of your child will help us together to educate and instill in him the habits and skills of safe behavior on the street!

Therefore, activities in kindergarten on traffic rules are an integral part of the educational program. Preschool teachers can independently come up with a scenario for such holidays. And also events on the topic of traffic rules in kindergarten can be organized based on ready-made ideas. In any case, the program must include everything that a child of a particular age category should know.

Why conduct traffic rules activities in kindergarten?

Typically, teachers and parents are well aware of the overall significance of such an event. However, it is better to study in detail what benefits knowledge of traffic rules will have for kids:

  • Children will learn to cross the road correctly.
  • In a playful way, they will understand the general rules of behavior on the road, both pedestrians and drivers.
  • Find out in which places it is prohibited to cross the road.
  • Learn some road signs.

In general, an event in kindergarten on traffic rules is very useful for children of different ages. In a playful form, boys and girls will remember what is presented to them much faster than in the form of a banal lecture.

How to involve children in participating in the event?

Of course, in addition to the presenters, the children themselves should take part. When there are many of them, there should not be any difficulties in finding active participants. After all, among a group or several groups of children, there will definitely be those who will be happy to help make the holiday varied, lively and fun.

If the kids refuse to participate for some reason, you can motivate them by promising prizes at the end of the program.

Scenario of an event in kindergarten on traffic rules for the little ones

Nurseries and younger groups, just like adults, must know the rules of the road. Therefore, the traffic rules event in kindergarten should be rich in useful knowledge and skills. The smallest boys and girls cannot sit still for long. Therefore, an event on traffic rules in kindergarten for the nursery and junior groups should be organized short, but filled with useful knowledge. The scenario could be as follows:

The presenter (Traffic Light) comes out and says:

Hello guys, I hope that you all know me well. But I still want to remind you of my role on the roads.

Why are the lights on at the traffic lights?

Red means everyone should stand

Yellow - get ready

And green means we're on our way,

Well, let them change,

Well, let the traffic light change colors.

Do you know how to cross the road correctly?

But today we will consolidate our knowledge a little.

Then a boy runs out, while the traffic light is red, he runs across the road. He mutters to himself:

Oh, I'm late, oh-oh-oh.

A car (also a man in disguise) stops abruptly in front of him. The driver gets out of the car and says to the boy:

What are you doing, you're a bad boy?

You run right under the wheels.

You will forever remember,

Just cross the road when the light is green.

The track is no joke

Better wait a minute.

I taught about traffic lights at school,

But I was in a hurry to see Olya.

Traffic light:

I hope you understand that it's better to wait,

So that you don’t have to go to the doctors later.

The sad boy slowly crossed the green road. But he realized his mistake and will never do that again.

After this, the children are lined up in two lines opposite the traffic light. Everyone in turn must cross the road when the light turns green. At the other end of the road there should be various interesting little animals that beckon to children, but children must cross to the other side only when the light is green. At the end of the relay, each participant must be given a candy on a stick.

Scenario of the event for older groups of kindergarten

In older groups, children know much more than in nursery and middle groups. However, you first need to draw up a plan for an event on traffic rules in kindergarten for graduating groups so that learning in a playful way brings maximum benefit. The scenario could be as follows:

The presenter (B) and a man in the uniform of a traffic police officer enter the stage.

Q: It’s not for nothing that we have gathered here,

We will fix the rules.

Let's talk about something very important,

Let's repeat.

We'll remember what you knew

We will organize fun competitions.

Traffic police officer: I invite ten guys to the stage, with whom we will show all the spectators important traffic rules and behavior on the roads.

Those who want to actively participate in the event come out. Having settled for first or second, the players are divided into two teams.

I propose to call one team “Zebras” and the second “Traffic Light”. This will make it easier for us to root for the participants and support them in competitions.

After this, the presenter approaches one team, and the disguised traffic police officer approaches the second. Together with the guys, the presenters study the team mottos. When all the words are memorized, it’s time to introduce yourself.

Our team?!

The children answer in unison:

Our motto?!

Hello to the “Traffic Lights” team! We will give them answers to all traffic rules questions. After all, if you know the rules of the road, this is a very big achievement.

Disguised traffic police officer:

Our team?!

Traffic light.

Employee:

Our motto?!

The Traffic Light team knows the rules of the roads. We will give Zebra a head start, because we are confident in our knowledge.

Well, I see that both teams are ready to play. Therefore, we begin our competition.

First relay.

Participants stand in two lines according to teams. The task is as follows:

In front of the children is a screen on which the colors of a traffic light will light up in a chaotic manner. When the light turns green, children need to stand in circles, according to the commands, and walk. When the yellow light comes on on the screen, you need to quickly stop, placing one foot forward and the other back. You need to stand like this until the next light comes on. If red appears on the screen, all children should stand close to each other with their legs and arms straight.

It is immediately obvious that you are well versed in this. Well done to both teams, you showed class. How will you cope with another task?

Second relay.

The most important thing in this game is to give answers to questions without hesitation within a few seconds. Questions could be:

  • How many colors are there in a traffic light?
  • What color can you cross the road with?
  • What does a yellow traffic light mean?
  • Describe the meaning of a red traffic light?

These and other questions can be asked. They don’t have to be complicated; the most important thing is to consolidate your knowledge of traffic light colors.

Well done guys, you did a good job. And now I offer you several active competitions in which you can warm up and have fun from the heart.

First competition.

Children choose one person from their team to be the driver. This person becomes the first, the rest must fit behind him. There are a lot of obstacles along the way, traffic lights, road signs, holes and puddles that drivers must overcome as quickly as possible. The team that passes the test first wins.

Second competition.

Here everyone should imagine themselves as a car driver. The first players in the line are given a circle, which is considered the steering wheel. There are pins along the way that you need to run around. The person who passes the relay passes the steering wheel to the next participant. The team that passes all the obstacles first wins.

Well done guys, you passed all the tests with dignity, and I see that you have consolidated your knowledge of the rules of the road. We give each of you memorable prizes: a book with traffic rules so that you don’t forget them, and sweet gifts.

Competitions to consolidate knowledge gained at the event

To understand how much the children understood the information conveyed, it is important to draw up a report on the activities on traffic rules in kindergarten, namely, ask the children questions in order to understand whether the lesson was organized in vain. Questions with suggested answers might be:

1. Why are traffic rules needed?

  • In order to break them.
  • So that on the street there is something to think about.
  • So that everything is in order on the roads.

2. What are the names of roads that are intended for pedestrians?

  • Sidewalks.
  • Trails.
  • Highways.

3. What is the name of the pedestrian crossing?

  • Cheetah.
  • Tiger.
  • Zebra.

4. What is the color of the traffic light that indicates that traffic is prohibited?

  • Violet.
  • Crimson.
  • Red.

5. The green light on the traffic light is flashing. What does it mean?

Such questions will amuse children and help them understand how much they have mastered the material received.

How to end the event?

Of course, it’s worth thanking in prose or rhyme all those who took part in the competition. We also need to say thank you to the grateful viewers for their time and attention. Words of gratitude will be an excellent motivation for children for the future. Boys and girls will definitely want to participate in the following competitions and events, because it’s so nice when your efforts are not in vain.
