And so on to the top of the bowl. Close the multicooker and cook in the same “Baking” mode. Cooking time depends on the power of the unit. This is usually from forty to sixty minutes. After the signal rings, indicating the end of the process, you need to wait another ten minutes, then open the multicooker and, turning the bowl over the dish, take out the pie.

How to serve

In principle, charlotte is a dish that is so tasty in itself that it does not require any additional ingredients. It is enough to offer a cup of tea or coffee with the cake. However, you can diversify the dessert. This aromatic pie goes great with, say, ice cream. Or with sour cream, which can be prepared quite quickly. Why do you need to beat a glass of rich sour cream with a mixer, after adding a few tablespoons of powdered sugar and a bag of vanillin to it. By the way, except for Tsvetaevskaya, other types of charlotte are served hot - just ten minutes after the end of cooking.

Perhaps we can end here. However, in the end I would like to offer a recipe for, so to speak, an alternative charlotte. Not with the usual apples, but with a more substantial filling.

Hearty charlotte

To prepare this somewhat unusual pie, we stock up on:

  • raw and boiled eggs (two pieces each);
  • mayonnaise (three tablespoons);
  • flour (100 g);
  • butter (40 g);
  • sugar (one tsp);
  • cabbage (400 g);
  • onion (1 pc.); salt.

How to cook

We will make the pie in a slow cooker. We put it in the “Baking” mode, put the butter in the bowl, as soon as it melts, add the finely chopped onion. Simmer, stirring, until soft. Then add finely shredded cabbage and coarsely grated eggs. Then fill the mass with dough made from eggs beaten with sugar, mayonnaise and flour. Mix everything, leave to cook in the same mode for an hour or a little more. If you wish, you can take not white cabbage, but Chinese cabbage. Or, let's say, colored. Instead of mayonnaise, put sour cream.

In principle, charlotte is a dish with which you can experiment endlessly. Our housewives came up with a great many variations on this theme. So don't be shy, join the ranks of innovators and create!
